What do we expect from you before March 20?
Step 1: Update your company profile
From February 13th onwards, students will indicate their preferred speed dates. It is therefore important that your company profile is up to date. You can check and edit your profile in the EoT dashboard.
To the dashboard!
Step 2: Tailor your company booth and register your representatives
In short: fill our booth confirmation form. Doe dit voor 21 februari!
We want to ensure that your company booth reflects your needs and preferences for the event. Therefore, we kindly ask you to confirm your requirements by filling out the booth confirmation form. This form allow you to specify any additional furniture, booth enhancements and the amount of company representatives.
Booth:
A standard company booth measures 3m x 2m and includes 2 chairs and 2 high tables. You have the option to add extra chairs or tables for a small fee. We furthermore offer the possibility to brighten up your company booth with one or more TV screens and uplighters to enhance visibility and ambiance.
Catering:
Sandwiches will be provided for company representatives during the "break + dinner". If you have any specific dietary preferences of special requests, please inform us by indicating as such in the form or contacting us in advance on info@engineersoftomorrow.com.
Step 3: Access the CV book and check your speed dates
As a participating company of the Engineers of Tomorrow job- & networking event 2024, you will have access to a digital version of the CV book featuring our attendees on the company dashboard. This resource will provide valuable insights into the backgrounds and qualifications of the students attending the event, enabling your company to prepare effectively for the networking opportunities ahead. Two different versions of the CV book will be made for you:
Draft version - Available on Friday, March 15
This version will contain all CVs we have collected up until that time. While this draft CV book can be used by your company to prepare for most of the speed dates, please note that it may not be complete. Given that students often register a few days before the event, we anticipate that the draft CV book may not include all attendees.
Final version - Available on Monday, March 25
This version will be updated to include all CVs received up until the event date. We aim to provide this final CV book on March 25 to ensure that your company has access to the most comprehensive and up-to-date information about the attending students.
On Friday, March 15, you will also see a first draft of your speed dates. In the following days, this table will be updated, so don't forget to check this on a regular basis (in case not all slots are filled yet).
What will happen on March 20, 2024?
Speed dating
Our speed dating concept provides a structured and efficient way for companies to meet with multiple students in a short amount of time, allowing for meaningful interactions and potential future collaborations.
- Time slots: There are 8 time slots for speed dating. During each time slot, 2 students can be matched with your company. This means that in total, a maximum of 16 students can participate in the speed dating event.
- Duration: Each speed date lasts for 10 minutes. During this time, the students have the opportunity to introduce themselves, ask questions about the company and engage in a brief conversation. After each speed date, there is a break of 10 minutes. This break allows the students to switch tables and/or take a short break before the next speed date begins.
- Virtual speed dates: While the majority of the speed dates will be conducted in person, our students abroad (e.g. Erasmus) are invited to join the job fair online. To facilitate this, a dedicated virtual room will be set up and we will notify you at the start of the event in case one of your speed dates is online.
Networking
After the speed dates, attendees can look forward to the networking event, where the focus shifts to fostering deeper connections and conversations. This segment is designed to provide students with the opportunity to engage with companies they may not have met during the speed dating rounds or with those where the initial 10-minute interaction felt too brief to fully explore potential opportunities.
Additionally, we aim to attract alumni to the networking event, enriching the environment with diverse perspectives and valuable insights. This mix of participants enhances the networking experience, offering attendees a broader range of connections and potential career pathways to explore.
