What can you expect from this course?
The course consists of several modules in which you will gain knowledge and insight on the following topics:
- Materials, techniques and management in road construction
- Innovative technologies in asphalt road construction
- Sustainability and sustainability tools in the road construction industry, including Green Public Procurement and LCA
- Design rules for road construction (concerning structural road construction, horizontal and vertical alignment, applying forgiving elements, safety and environment) and how to put them into practice
- Building Information Modeling as part of quality and environmental management (with hands-on case)
- Current research in road construction and its practical translation for the engineer
