Project engineer internship

MBG offers an internship position as a construction project engineer for a construction site in Antwerp. As a project engineer, you will work on a project basis in the site teams and learn from the project leader. Through technical and administrative improvements (execution methodology, planning, execution documents,...) you will ensure a more profitable construction site: You monitor and control financial, technical and administrative aspects of activities related to work preparation. You monitor the project planning and work it out in consultation with the project leader. You follow up the study in consultation with the study department and the project leader. You check the design for preconditions related to the execution. Together with the project leader you then define the execution methods. You consult the prevention advisor to draw up any task-risk analyses and take account of safety provisions during execution. You organize and supervise the mandatory inspections of the equipment and perform safety rounds once a month. You assist in the preparation and implementation of quality controls on site. You monitor the quality registrations on the construction site (deviations, complaints, inspections, etc.). Depending on the duration of the internship and the phase of the construction site, you will deal with different assignments.
