In recent years, I have fallen in love with academia, but I also occasionally flirt with industry and consulting. I am interested in new ways to implement dynamic wireless and wired networks that provide true end-to-end networking, relying on 5G/6G programmable networks. I am also heavily involved in the SmartHigway testbed and in the Smartcity testbed of Antwerp, Belgium -Citylab- which is part of a large venture involving the government of the city of Antwerp, imec (leading industry in nanoelectronics and digital technologies) and the University of Antwerp (7th in the top 50 young universities).
