Paulien started in 2021 as a tenure-track assistant at the University of Antwerp after studying bioengineering. She was immediately immersed in the wonderful world of brewing by her colleague and brewing expert Marc Wijnants. Together they brewed several beers, including some tripels, several cherries, some doubles and an IPA. Starting in the fall of 2024, Paulien will completely take over the torch from Marc and will continue brewing independently in the Eureka brewery on campus Groenenborger. This year, a mango habanero IPA and a citrus-thyme IPA are planned.
