Vasilis Maglogiannis

Vasilis Maglogiannis received his M.Eng degree in Computer Engineering and his M.Sc degree in Science and Technology of Computers, Telecommunications and Networks from the University of Thessaly, Greece, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. In 2018, he received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Department of Information Technology at Ghent University. Since then, he has been working as a Senior Researcher in IDLab, a core research group of imec with research activities embedded in the University of Ghent and the University of Antwerp. His main research interests include mobile and wireless networks, 5G and beyond, LTE, 802.11, Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), real-time software defined radio and wireless sensor networks. He has experience working on several bilateral/consultancy, national, European R&D projects in collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
