As a flight commander, I am responsible for managing my crew. I work together with my First Officer to bring the flight to a successful conclusion. Problem solving and decision making play a crucial role in this. In addition, good communication and leadership is important to the cabin crew. Especially in case of technical problems or delays. Understanding the context in which people work is also critical to ensuring everything runs safely.
